Our Activities

The beating heart of Qxote is Monte dos Três Moinhos, a 9ha property that, like many in Portugal, used to be plowed two to three times a year, disrupting plant succession and damaging soil development. As part of our commitment, we decided to treat the land differently and the results are remarkable!

An essential part of learning is stepping beyond theoretical constructions to apply knowledge in real-world settings. In our life lab, students join our mission, participate in projects, share new ideas, and help us grow younger and bolder.

We believe in the innovation and motivation for change that comes from youth. Talent, commitment, and generosity have been the hallmarks of students from 12 different countries who came to Portugal to help us find opportunities and face our challenges. By learning in transdisciplinary settings and applying knowledge to real-life issues, we rise to the occasion of creating a more sustainable future with meaningful territorial impact.
